I can't believe it's almost December again! Things here at WB HQ have been frantic & frenzied for weeks.

I meant to post this last Thursday, but between working the craziness that is Thanksgiving Eve, 7 hours of sewing non-stop the following day, dinner, more sewing & even more work, followed by more sewing, didn't get a chance.

This is one of the things I was most grateful for here at HQ. An uninterrupted block of peace and quiet! No breaking up fights, no shooing lads off the fabric, no using mom as a scratching post.

The annual sale is slated to start on Saturday, December 1. Limited edition gift items will be listed starting Monday, December 3. (The link WILL NOT work until next Monday)

Back to work for me!

Since we here in Hostile City were pretty much spared the damage that most of the NE suffered, I started a  Sandy Relief section in my shop. I am going to leave these items up until every last one of them is gone. I will continue to add new items as the original ones sell until at least December 31, 2012. I would ideally like to reach a minimum donation of $250 by years end.

Update from HQ

We were incredibly lucky to be spared all the destruction that hit NY, NJ an CT. My heart goes out to all the folks who were hit so hard by Sandy.

Frankenstorm!!!

This is the view from my stoop, 5:45 PM. Sandy is due to hit within minutes. 

This lovely tree is in front of my neighbors house. I'm hoping it remains intact. 

Wind is picking up & the lads are sound asleep. I thought animals were supposed to be sensitive to natural disasters?!?

Since Sandy is due to hit about NOW, there is a FRANKENSTORM sale in the shop, running til 12 AM Wednesday morning.

News said Sandy has just hit Atlantic City, just as I've been typing this. Stay safe & stay dry.

Monday Funday ...

First & foremost, the annual Labor Day sale has been extended until Sunday, September 16. I'm working on some brand new planners (the smaller, purse-sized ones) which will be one of a kind! I've been waiting for them to come in for months. Lucked out and found them yesterday.

Back later ... tons of goodies to cut before pool league practice. One week til the Fall session starts. Yay!!!

Happy End of Summer!!!

It's been quite a summer!

Early in the summer, I was contacted by Julie Ann (the owner) of Cats Like Us. After checking out the shop, I knew that this would be a fantastic collaboration! There are more than a few patterns that are CLU exclusives.

This is what the finished order looked like! My fuzzy helpers had a blast keeping me company while I worked on it.

Beyond that, the annual WB Labor Day sale is going strong. The sale will be running until at least Sunday, September 9.
