Wish I had pix to go with this, but I don't ...
Go out back to gather up the trash and recycling. Stand on my back step and watch the after-game fireworks. Occurs to me that if I walk a block & a half, I will have a view that is almost as good as being at the stadium.
How cool is that? Stand out in the back and can see fireworks all summer long. Stand on my porch on New Years Day and can see Mummering ...
This makes me a bit happier with the joint ...

My backyard, the shanty town for all things fuzzy and/or feathered
I didn't get any pix of this, but this afternoon, I heard a mighty ruckus out back. Look out the back door to see two pigeons eating cat food out of the dish. Every time they leaned in to peck, the bowl would lift up, slam down and make a ton of noise. Struck me as weird and somehow ironic, even though it really wasn't.

Meanwhile, back at the farm ...

Allow me to reiterate. What I've been saying all along:
Those with a clear conscious DO NOT go around accusing others.
Those with a clear conscious DO NOT go around accusing others.
Again, the best defense is a good offense.
If I* whine endlessly about being copied, it deflects from the fact that I *borrow* other's ideas. If I frequently reiterate that I'm such a nice person, far too nice, as a matter of fact, that must make it true. If I talk shit about any seller who does the same [or similar] thing I do, that makes my stuff all the more superior. If I randomly try to pick fights with strangers, [notice the 's'. That would be plural. Not just ONE stranger] it's only because I am ...
How does one even finish that sentence?
a.) crazy
b.) threatened
c.) jealous
d.) better than you
e.) inviting the wrath of karma
f.) all of the above
I am AMAZED that this broad has the absolute and utter gall to snipe about anyone, considering all of her shady behaviour.
Wow. Wow. Wow.

* the I in question is most definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, not me.
Guilty party, you know exactly who you are.

[[Insert pithy title here]]
Today I got a message from a fellow Etsy-er today. I'm included in this treasury:

Pretty cool. I wish I'd taken a screen shot of the last one ... oh well.
Also finally finished up this custom order. This was a little trickier than I had anticipated, but, overall, it turned out so cute, I can't believe it. I hope the new owner likes it as much as I do. Here it is:

It's going to my 2nd favorite city in the country.

Other than that, life is hectic. Mr. has amusing tales to tell about Transformers II, none of which I am at liberty to post publicly. Oh well ...
I've been a pinch busy, but not nearly as busy as my copy-cat fan. I truly love how she now no longer even makes an attempt to hide the fact that she is (damn near) cutting & pasting some of my listings.
In my head, I hear Joe Pesci going "You're a mutt".
I'm off to sling cocktails ...

Yikes, that one went quick ....
This will have to be a multi-parter. Almost like a soapie, less the emoting and bombastic costuming ...
Party was a major smash. I had no idea ... I was touched.

[Later edit]
Friday night, my actual b-day, midnight-ish.
Part one:
What is not visible in this shot: the puddle of vomit under drivers side window; the bars (where I work, but didn't on Friday) in front of which this (passed out) guy is parked.
This is my friend P., also tipsy, also celebrating his b-day. Thumbs up!!!!
What could possibly be better than this???
Part two:
How about climbing into a strangers car, univited, for photo ops? The thing that really amused me was that dude came to, noticed a stranger in his car, noticed another stranger photographing it, and a crowd of people in front of 2 different bars pointing and laughing. And he hides his face from the camera.
Priceless.
