Merry Christmas

Is this for us?!?

Sheesh, finally the craziness is over! The last 6 weeks have been non-stop: sewing, sewing, sewing, pool & work. And of course, these guys take up large amounts of time. Santa brought them a big box of goodies. This one seems to be their favorite so far.

I'm glad that there's only a few days of the year left. This year flew by. So many things that I wanted to get done that I just didn't find the time to get to. 2013 will be a bit different; re-organized both the professional and personal life. :)

I've got some new goodies for the shop, which will start appearing in 2 - 3 weeks. Plus, all the cute VDay prints will start to be listed next week as well. Come mid-January, pool league is back in full swing again. I love the month long winter break! I actually get more than 1 day off.

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday!

Soupy Sunday ....

Almost 5 PM, and I haven't put on this weeks soup. I'ma try a different one this week, potato & turnip. We'll see how that turns out.

This is my last custom order for 2012. I really love how it turned out. This fabric being incredibly adorable definitely helped.

Other than that, lazy Sunday here at WB HQ. Discovery ID, plenty of sewing, listing, picture-taking & soup making. The annual holiday sale has been extended until Saturday the 15th.

Then There's This ...

Tuesday is also league night. Got there last night to find this. I am so stoked! And, somehow I'm top gun in both 8 ball & 9 ball. Huzzah!

Now, back to the huge pile of sewing in front of me.

On the Third Day of Christmas ...

Last night was our pool teams league night. As it turned out, the team we were supposed to shoot pulled a no-show. As we were the only folks in the joint at that time, we decided to have a little mini-tourney. It's not an entirely common event that we're all together, with no-one else waiting on the table, so we decided to make it count.

In the background, you can see the t.v. on. We were watching Layover, which I was actually on! My phone blew up like crazy, as everybody was telling me they saw my ass on t.v.! I didn't think they were filming me, just my friends and/or patrons, dancing behind the bar. If my team-mate (and resident Friday DJ) didn't play such great tunes during happy hour, I wouldn't be forced to shake my ass.

The episode was really enjoyable, as there were more than a few ppl that I know, along with places that I frequent or have worked at. Not to mention, my absolute hands down favorite PHO was featured.

Back to work for Miss Waffles. Been up for hours, packaged 12+ orders already. Back to filling orders, getting help from the lads, enjoying this gorgeous day and listing new items.

(And ... I won our tourney. My prize was a shot of Johnny Red, a 40 of Bud & the title "King of Colanzis". Fitting, as our team is Bloodweiser.)
