Try to help someone who really needs it -- a friend, a kid or a customer. Your service should both help them and help you, and it may actually lead to something new and different in your life.


What makes that rather timely is this: walking I. this morning, come across a loose dog, about 25 pounds on the corner. He had a collar and tags, but was clearly lost. Walked I. on our normal multi-block route, being followed the whole time. Decided to see if he would follow us home, so as to put him in the yard until the owner could be tracked down. He almost got hit 3 times crossing the MAJOR e-w arterial road that I live off of. Got a hold of his owner, who lived about 15 blocks away. I'm amazed that this pooch crossed another major arterial n-s and didn't get hit.

All this before I had my first cup of coffee today!!!

Rainy Thursday ...

Just a quick one.

Busy, busy, busy. Mornings/afternoons have been spent hanging out with the dogs at V.'s house. Rest of the day here, trying to get work done, run house, etc.



Also, treated myself to new rain boots. I saw these a while ago, but didn't buy them. I'm glad, cause I got them for almost 25% off. Yay!!!




Off to grocery shop in the dank and rain ...
